Profile: What a nice picture from such a super small dome camera. The technical specifications (specs) make it sound like so many others - but the performance beats the numbers and comparable units on this one. The 550+ horizontal TV lines / 0.05 lux cam has an overall sharper picture capable of performing in lower light situations. A great choice for a variety of indoor applications. With the newly revised 1/3" Sony Super HAD DSP (digital signal processing) CCD imager chipset, this features a great picture and great low light ability. Fairly quick and easy to set up and mount. User has ability to manually change the pan and tilt angles of the camera to get optimum angle and view. You can mount this flush to a wall or ceiling. Aspect is set up for ceiling mount, but some choose to 'flip' aspect of camera for wall use. Please see cautions tag below to see why some extra care must be used when handling the camera. You can mount this flush to a wall or ceiling- or use the removable "L" bracket mount. We carry ONLY the LATEST and BEST in CCTV chipset technology and circuit board engineering (both aspects are critical to produce a high quality CCD camera)!

*These are available with additional or alternate lenses. Our technicians will  remove the normally included 3.6mm lens & replace with your desired lens (sold separately), including focal adjustment. Having our qualified technicians do it allows you to maintain full factory warranty- and can avoid a lot of other headaches.

Variations / Alternate Equipment to Consider: We also carry a complete line of indoor color domes, outdoor-rated armor dome cameras, and an amazing outdoor-rated remote pan tilt power zoom (PTZ) dome camera. Cautions: These indoor dome cameras are great and can usually last for years and years, but care must be used when mounting or making any adjustments inside the camera. The camera inside these is a specially mounted exposed board camera (which is basically an industry standard for dome cameras). Exposed board circuitry is always prone to external short-circuiting when the dome protection is removed.

  • The new CC-5XDWDR Color Weatherproof Bullet Camera has incredibly clear 700 TV lines of resolution, Digital Wide Dynamic Range and 2D Digital Noise Reduction.
  • The wide dynamic range (WDR) function of a camera is intended to provide clear images even under extreme light circumstances where intensity of illumination can vary excessively, namely when there are both very bright and very dark areas simultaneously in the field of view of the camera. WDR enables the capture and display of both bright and dark areas in the same frame, in a way that there are details in both areas, i.e. bright areas are not saturated, and dark areas are not too dark. It also offers amazing low light capability.
  • Digital Noise refers to the random dot pattern that is superimposed on the picture as a result of electronic noise; the 'snow' that is similar to what can be seen with poor (analog) television reception or on VHS tapes. The Digital Noise Reduction feature reduces that "noise" from the cctv camera image.
  • This is the best bullet camera we have seen in terms of performance.
