The
PWR-1AR is a fully regulated 12 volt DC transformer for use with
nearly all Eyespyvideo.com equipment which operates in the 9 ~ 15v
range. This AC/DC transformer has a polarized 2-prong AC input made
to connect into any standard U.S. 110v AC wall outlet.
This power supply has "dual" input voltage, making it "internationally" compatible with the standard power systems in most countries. The PWR-1AR uses internal circuitry to automatically detect the power input voltage and power phase cycle. Because of this special design, the PWR-1AR transformer can be used safely with 110-120v AC @ 60 Hz -- or with 230-240v AC @ 50 Hz. *For use outside North America, a separate plug adapter (not included) may be required to convert the plug shape from U.S. wall outlet to the standard outlet used in other areas.
Voltage output
is from a standard 2.1mm (inner diameter) x 5.5mm (outer diameter)
coaxial power plug. This output plug is seamlessly compatible with
the power input plug on many Eyespyvideo.com video equipment, including
CCTV cameras, wireless equipment, and video monitors. This plug
also fits with our video / power extension cables (VP-Cables available
in lengths from 25' to 150') as well as our audio / video / power
extension cables (AVP-Cables come in 25', 50', and 100' lengths).
The PWR-1AR
delivers a full 1 A (amp) of DC current, equivalent to 1000 mA (milliamps).
This power supply can safely power up to nine miniature CCD cameras
at one time. This transformer is also suitable to power multiple
video devices (i.e. camera and / or microphone or wireless transmitter).
Connecting more than one device requires the use of a simple ACC-2Y
or ACC-3Y power splitter.
NOTE: Part number PWR-1AR was formerly a heavy, iron-core power transformer. This part number has recently been updated to a digital switching 1-amp power supply.
At only $14.95
USD, the PWR-1AR is priced significantly lower than other fully
regulated power supplies you be able to obtain locally.
