The
LS-21 (2.10mm focal length) can be used to provide an extremely
wide field of view. However, the picture will have an "artifically"
wide field of view with fairly severe curvarture of the video image.
Unfortunately, there is NO way to provide such a wide viewing angle
without this type of distortion.
This is a fixed
lens with one specific field of view. There is no way to adjust
the lens focal length for a dynamic viewing angle. For applications
where multiple viewing angles may be required, please consider using
a varifocal / zoom lens camera.
This micro board
lens has a 12mm diameter thread mount, making it compatible with
the following Eyespyvideo.com models: BW-4EX,
BW-4LL,
BW-4HAD,
BW-4HR,
BW-8HAD,
CC-5EX,
CC-5HR,
CC-7HM,
CC-1DBX,
CC-8HAD,
CC-8EX,
TVD-C36,and
TVD-CBHR.
Because of its physical size, this lens cannot maintain the weatherproof
seal on Eyespyvideo outdoor cameras and simply will not fit our
camera models with built-in Infrared illumination.
The LS-21 has
the absolute widest viewing angle of any "normal" lens
available for our CCTV video cameras. The only wider angle lenses
we stock are the LS-12 and LS-17. The LS-12 (1.24mm) has a tunnel-vision
effect, and the LS-17 (1.70mm) is very large with a 'peephole' shape.
