The
LM-160 (16.0mm focal length) can be used to provide a very narrow
viewing angle great for many applications. And because its focal
length is higher than 5.0mm, there is no curvature distortion in
the video image as seen with very wide angle lenses.
This is a fixed
lens with one specific field of view. There is no way to adjust
the lens focal length for a dynamic viewing angle. For applications
where multiple viewing angles may be required, please consider using
a varifocal / zoom lens camera.
This lens has
a 9mm diameter thread mount, making it compatible with the following
Eyespyvideo.com miniature board camera models:BW-5HRM,
BW-5LLM,
and BW-5HM.
*NOTE: This
lens produces a very telephoto (narrow angle) field of view. In
some lighting conditions, video image quality may have a 'light
tunnelling' effect in some areas of the screen. This phenomenon
only occurs in some direct forward lighitng conditions, but it cannot
be avoided without moving the camera or adjusting light levels outside.
This phenomenon only occurs to micro board lenses; C and CS mount
lenses (which are physically larger) do not have 'light tunnelling'
effects when set to narrow angle focal lengths.
