DSP (digital signal processing) CCD armor dome camera with Sony¨
high resolution SuperHAD¨ 1/3" imager. 3.6mm wide angle board
lens included installed. *Optional alternate lenses available: 2.10mm,
2.45mm, 2.97mm, 6mm, 8mm, 12mm, 16mm. This unit is compatible with
ALL of our recorders (DVR and VCR) and wireless equipment. It's also
compatible with all consumer VCRs as well as most television sets
(those with standard composite RCA or BNC inputs).
Profile:
This is one for those who are serious about their
security- starting with that of the camera itself. 480+ horizontal
TV lines / 0.5 lux performs BETTER than technical specifications
when compared to competitive units with same or better specs. The
TVD-CBHR is providing the BEST video ever seen by an armor dome.
The picture is razor sharp and the colors are AMAZINGLY vibrant.
Low-light imaging ability unmatched for color.
This camera can withstand strikes from bats, crowbars
and even a blast from a 12 gauge shotgun... it's tough! However,
special care must be used when mounting (see 'cautions' below).
Fairly quick and easy to set up and mount. User
has ability to manually change the pan and tilt angles of the camera
to get optimum angle and view. You can mount this flush to a wall
or ceiling. Aspect is set up for ceiling mount, but some choose
to 'flip' aspect of camera for wall use. Please see cautions tag
below to see why some extra care must be used when handling camera.
We carry ONLY the LATEST and BEST in CCTV chipset
technology and circuit board engineering (both aspects are critical
to produce a high quality CCD camera)! Too many in our industry
are still liquidating 'antiques' on an unsuspecting public, often
even unaware themselves that better technology exists.

This adjustable
zoom/ focus lens is manually controlled. For remote zoom or PTZ
ability, see our #TV-C270 or #DN-PTZ units.
Cautions:
This camera
requires special care when installing- pure and simple. Not extremely
difficult, but this unit has special anti-tamper screws which must
be inserted properly with the included O-ring seals. If not sealed
properly, you might end up with a fishbowl on your hands and no
warranty coverage. Special instructions are included, and most customers
have no problems whatsoever..... but this is the most complex of
our basic cameras to install properly.
These
outdoor dome cameras are great and can usually last for years and
years, but care must be used when mounting or making any adjustments
inside the camera. The camera inside these is a specially mounted
exposed board camera (which is basically an industry standard for
dome cameras). Exposed board circuitry is always prone to external
short-circuiting when the dome protection is removed.
