DSP (digital signal processing) CCD inline bullet (a.k.a. 'lipstick')
camera with Sony® high resolution Ex-View ® 1/3" imager.
3.6mm wide angle board lens included installed. *Optional alternate
lenses available: 2.97mm, 6mm, 8mm, 12mm. This unit is compatible
with ALL of our recorders (DVR and VCR) and wireless equipment. It's
also compatible with all consumer VCRs as well as most television
sets (those with standard composite RCA or BNC inputs).
Profile:
What an excellent and tiny camera- this 600 horizontal TV lines
(600TVL) / 0.0003 lux cam is the sharpest AND lowest light performing monochrome bullet camera in the world. Features
Sony® high resolution Ex-View ® 1/3" CCD imager. However,
it should be mentioned that the true benefits of this camera are only realized when used in conjunction with higher resolution monitors and/ or recorders. If used with a simple television, few people will notice much difference between the picture from this camera and the 430
TV line #BW-4LL or #BW-4EX models. So, for simple monitoring, this might be 'overkill' because our standard resolution Ex-View cameras provide a great picture and also give the same amazing low light performance as attained by the HR models. The high
resolution difference IS much more apparent when using higher quality recording equipment like our DVR-RT or DVR-CD series DVRs. This camera is intended for serious CCTV applications where evidence may be crucial.
* More TV lines can make a difference when it comes to digital pixel magnification after the fact.
We carry ONLY the LATEST and BEST in CCTV chipset technology and
circuit board engineering (both aspects are critical to produce
a high quality CCD camera)! Too many in our industry are still liquidating
'antiques' on an unsuspecting public, often even unaware themselves
that better technology exists.
Common Applications:
•Sports / racing including 'extreme' sports filming

Having our qualified technicians do it allows you to maintain full
factory warranty- and can avoid a lot of other headaches.
Variations / Alternate Equipment to Consider:
If you have some decent lighting and are considering color instead,
consider our CC-5EX or CC-5HR.
We also carry several infrared (IR) 'day-night' dual color-BW imaging
cameras capable of providing their own illumination even in pitch dark environments.
Cautions:
This camera's thread mount will accept other lenses we carry as
well. HOWEVER, the superwide 2.10mm/ 2.45mm and the highly telephoto
16mm/ 25mm lenses WILL NOT ALLOW the lens cap (with weatherproof
o-ring seal) to seat properly to camera body. Therefore, only 2.97mm,
3.6mm, 6mm, 8mm and 12mm lenses can be used to maintain weatherproof
aspect of camera. *This camera is not submersible.
Certain types of telephoto lenses (12mm and *non-weatherproof 16mm
/ 25mm) may cause some picture brightness alterations in certain
lighting conditions with this camera.
These bullet
cameras are great and are considered rugged, but care must be used
when handling the attached video /power cable. Most any problems
ever seen with our bullet cameras are caused by too much pulling
stress being applied, resulting in connection damage inside the
camera.
