What a great microphone!! We can't say enough about
the quality or sensitivity/ gain of this unit. We have been complimented
on this mic hundreds of times over the last 5-6 years. There are
apparently a LOT of lookalike models out there (ranging from half
our price to over ten times as much) which don't even come CLOSE
to providing the audio this one does.
The range of the #AM-1 is AMAZING! It can pick up
conversational audio at up to 30' away or more.
When user does a simple "test 1, 2" directly
into the mic near an active sound source. However, when recorded
audio is played back and volume cranked up, the stellar ability
of gain shines through.

Available Options:
#BAT-2 "pigtail" (allows user to power
the mic with a simple 9V battery) included FREE with each AM-1 ordered.
Can be powered by our #BAT-1/3/AAA battery packs
or our #ACC-AUTO heavy duty fused vehicle power cord.
User can also power the #AM-1 safely and continuously
with our #PWR-500R fully regulated 12v DC transformer (#AM-1 is
safely powered from 7-14 volts DC).
