*Note: Wireless transmitters with an RF output power of more than 50 milliwatts (mW) require the end user to obtain a site license from the Federal Communications Commission. Such a license can be obtained at www.fcc.gov by filing Form 601 (access schedule 1) and paying a fee. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an independent United States government regulatory agency directly resposible to the Congress of the United States. The FCC jurisdiction includes all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and all U.S. protectorates / possessions. If a wireless system in use within FCC jurisdiction does not comply with FCC standards or licensing regulations, fines may result should the FCC choose to prosecute. |
