Q1: What is the difference between PAL / CCIR or NTSC / EIA?

A1: These are all abbreviations for the technical standards set forth for manufacturers of video products. CCIR and PAL are the black & white and color formats for much of Europe as well as Israel, while EIA and NTSC are their American, Canadian, and Japanese equivalent standards. The key difference between them is the speed at which the video is 'phased'- and that PAL cameras are not compatible with NTSC monitors, or vice-versa (unless they feature a dual or multi-format ability). The only thing you really have to know is which format your country uses. Back to top-->

Q2: Is there equipment available which can utilize both formats?

A2: There are specially designed monitors and vcrs which DO have the ability to record in one mode / speed and playback or watch in another format. Such a product is our #VM-70. Also, all of our wireless transmitters have the ability to transmit and receive BOTH PAL/ CCIR AND EIA/NTSC. However, the camera and monitor used must both be the same format (again, unless they feature a multi-format ability) because receiver will only accept and relay whatever signal being transmitted. Q3: I can't access your toll free 800 order line- how can I speak to someone at your company?

A3: Please email us through one of the links provided. We will be happy to provide more information or to get an order going by email, or will also provide our worldwide international direct dial telephone number. Back to top-->

Q4: What methods of shipping do you use?

A4: We generally ship international orders (to most areas of the world) via "EMS GLOBAL EXPRESS" service offered by the United States Postal Service. Our international customers prefer 'global express' service for several reasons. It is reliable, very economical and often doesn't require special extra "brokerage fees" that can be incurred when using a private shipper who must have a parcel "cleared" through a third party.
Global EMS service features 2-6 day worldwide delivery (not necessarily guaranteed). We can also ship via FedEx International service. FedEx is more reliable and offers realtime tracking, but it is also more expensive and may require additional import duties in some places.

Q5: What forms of payment do you accept?

A5: We have to be very careful when it comes to accepting payments from foreign countries, due to the exponential growth of electronic credit card fraud, counterfeit / forgery technologies, etc.. And while we don't want to lose any business (provided it's legal)- we need to limit the forms of payment we accept. Western Union, Paypal and Bidpay are all acceptable forms of guaranteed payment. We MAY accept international credit and bank cards (i.e. Visa & MasterCard) on a case by case basis, though any such order will be subject to approval and/ or a brief 2-3 business day delay for bank verification or clearing purposes. Any payment accepted must be payable in U.S. funds. Please email us (click link below) for additional inquiries or to place an order. Back to top-->

Q6: My voltage is different than U.S. standard 110 volt AC- how do I power your equipment?

A6: We do NOT supply any form of ac/dc transfomer at this point for 220v - 250v AC. All of our PAL version products and 95% of our NTSC products will run on 12 volts DC. We do provide automotive (cigarette lighter) power cords and AA and AAA alkaline battery packs as a substitute for your free option selection. We do not carry ac/dc transformers in ANY other configuration than standard U.S. 110v AC. If you have a different voltage requirement, it will be your responsibility to secure a regulated 12v DC transformer locally. Using unregulated or otherwise improper (i.e. reverse polarity, incorrect voltage, wrong plug size) power supplies will INSTANTLY VOID any and all warranty coverage. Back to top-->

Q7: My country's duties are very high. Can you claim a lower value on customs form?

A7: While we sympathize with this situation, we can't lie to any government about the value of our products. Likewise, we cannot rightfully claim it as a "gift" or "sample" when it is quite clearly purchased merchandise. However, we may be able to claim value for you as that of our dealer cost- rather than the actual retail purchase price (we feel this is fair to both customer and governmental customs as they request value rather than sales price).
**NOTE: If you do not purchase insurance on postal airmail shipments, you will be entirely responsible for any damage and/ or loss incurred in shipping. We're proud to say that we've never had a domestic or international shipment lost or damaged in transit- but there have been some 'close calls' so we highly recommend always covering for entire replacement value.

Q8: Will you claim item(s) as other than advertised or leave contents declaration section blank?

A8: We must comply with standards to continue to be a successful business- please don't ask us to lie about what the equipment is. Most every camera is listed as "12v video camera" and every wireless link as a "wireless camcorder link". Please DO NOT ASK US to misrepresent our products or business- learn your legalities first! Q9: Is use or possession of your equipment legal in my country?

A9: We have no idea about most country's legalities- we have a hard enough time trying to ascertain our own state and federal regulations. It is ENTIRELY YOUR RESPONSIBILITY as a consumer to learn, understand and obey all laws regarding use and/ or importation of our products. Shipments which are declared undeliverable for ANY reason will be shipped back to us. In such a case, there will be a 25% (of original purchase price) restocking fee applied to any refund + any charges incurred by us for having sent back. No shipping fees will be refunded. There are no exceptions to either policy. Back to top-->
