Unbelievable performance
for a pinhole camera! We've had many customer reports of cameras
out there which look and spec IDENTICALLY to this unit, but which
are much inferior in comparison. The "430+ horizontal TV lines
/ 0.0003 lux" cam is world's smallest 1/3" CCD enclosed
case camera and is capable of performing in lower light situations
than any other pinhole camera. The choice for a variety of potentially
low-light applications- whether for covert / hidden / disguised
purposes..... or just general video use. Newly revised 1/3"
Sony Ex-View DSP (digital signal processing) CCD imager chipset.
In normal to medium lighting, this features identical picture quality
to our other enclosed case BW-4/5HAD configurations, as well as
the exposed board BW-1HAD.
It should be noted that
we have six other black and white (monochrome) cameras with the
same ultra low-light capable chipset: #BW-5HR (high resolution pinhole),
#TV-BCSHR (high resolution CS mount) and weatherproof bullets #BW-4LL
and #BW-4EX. The #BW-4LL/EX qnd BW-5LLM/HRM are board lens cameras,
which let more light into the imager than a pinhole lens and actually
allow them to image in even lower lighting than this cam will do.
However, for any covert pinhole available, the BW-5LL and BW-5HR
are unmatched in low-light performance.
We carry ONLY the LATEST
and BEST in CCTV chipset technology and circuit board engineering
(both aspects are critical to produce a high quality CCD camera)!
Too many in our industry are still liquidating 'antiques' on an
unsuspecting public, often even unaware themselves that better technology
exists.

Variations / Alternate Equipment to Consider:
If the highest resolution
covert imaging is required- you may want to consider the use of
our high resolution #BW-5HR camera instead of this one. However,
it should be mentioned that very few people will notice a 'naked
eye' difference between the picture from #BW-5LL and #BW-5HR. So,
for typical general or security CCTV use, this could almost be considered
a waste of money. The high resolution aspect is reserved primarily
for those with advanced or specialized recording and/ or monitoring
applications and equipment.
Though not covert, we
also carry the #BW-5LLM and #BW-5HRM with interchangeable board
lenses available (2.45mm, 2.97mm, 6mm, 8mm, 12mm, 16mm).
Cautions:
This is a non-weatherproof
camera, and as such- must be treated with extra care and NEVER left
outdoors without the proper protective housings.
Fixed pinhole lens is
not interchangeable like many of our board-type lens cameras.
