The
ANT-5817 dish / panel antenna is a great aid to help increase the
range
potential of 5.8 GHz
wireless
audio/video link systems. This antenna delivers a high gain,
giving it the ability to potentially increase range with the TX-58M
/ RX-5800
transmitter and receiver system.
However, as
a highly directional
antenna the ANT-5817 is not typically recommended for short
range wireless broadcasts. This antenna is meant to be pointed DIRECTLY
at the antenna on the opposite side of your wireless transmission,
preferably with a pure line
of sight between the two antennas.
The ANT-5817
is weatherproof and can be mounted outdoors or indoors with its
included pole-mounting hardware. Due to its large size (10"
diameter), the ANT-5817 panel antenna may not be suitable for many
miniature video applications but works very well for long range
stationary wireless video.
Use this antenna
with the TX-58M transmitter / RX-5800 receiver wireless link system.
