TV-HD48 DSP (digital signal processing) CCD enclosed board camera with new high resolution / high density Sony® 1/3" imager. 4-8mm varifocal/ adjustable zoom lens with DC auto iris control included installed. This unit is compatible with ALL of our recorders (DVR and VCR) and wireless equipment. It's also compatible with all consumer VCRs as well as most television sets (those with standard composite RCA or BNC inputs).

What an amazingly crisp high resolution camera! This is a great choice for a variety of purposes where high quality color video is desired, with the ability to adjust the zoom from wide to medium angle viewing, as well perfect focus adjustment. With the newly revised 1/3" Sony SuperHAD DSP (digital signal processing) CCD imager chipset- this features unparalleled picture quality and features to any other similar size camera.

This camera has special remote control image quality features (digital zoom, digital day / night mode, negative color, brightness control, pan / tilt within zoom image, etc). Some features are controlled using tiny dip switches on the back of the camera. More features can be controlled using an optional handheld remote controller (RMT-3X or RMT-3XL) - or from a PC computer using RS-485 communications interface with the included software application.

We carry ONLY the LATEST and BEST in CCTV chipset technology and circuit board engineering (both aspects are critical to produce a high quality CCD camera)! Too many in our industry are still liquidating 'antiques' on an unsuspecting public, often even unaware themselves that better technology exists.

Cautions:

This is a non-weatherproof camera, and as such- must be treated with extra care and NEVER left outdoors without the proper protective housings.

Built-in varifocal lens is not interchangeable like many of our board-type or C/ CS mount lens cameras.

  • The new CC-5XDWDR Color Weatherproof Bullet Camera has incredibly clear 700 TV lines of resolution, Digital Wide Dynamic Range and 2D Digital Noise Reduction.
  • The wide dynamic range (WDR) function of a camera is intended to provide clear images even under extreme light circumstances where intensity of illumination can vary excessively, namely when there are both very bright and very dark areas simultaneously in the field of view of the camera. WDR enables the capture and display of both bright and dark areas in the same frame, in a way that there are details in both areas, i.e. bright areas are not saturated, and dark areas are not too dark. It also offers amazing low light capability.
  • Digital Noise refers to the random dot pattern that is superimposed on the picture as a result of electronic noise; the 'snow' that is similar to what can be seen with poor (analog) television reception or on VHS tapes. The Digital Noise Reduction feature reduces that "noise" from the cctv camera image.
  • This is the best bullet camera we have seen in terms of performance.
