The PW-12D16 delivers a full 5.6 amps of DC current, enough to safely handle up to 16 typical Eyespyvideo.com CCTV cameras and can even power up to 16 Infrared video cameras. The PW-12D16 has sixteen power outputs for connecting multiple devices, and each of these voltage outputs provides fully REGULATED 12v DC voltage with 350 mA maximum current.

Voltage input is 110v AC, 60 Hz with two (2) 2-prong polarized wall plugs (U.S. standard voltage and plug).

However, this power supply is NOT intended for novice CCTV installation. Connecting the PW-12D16 to a 110v AC power source requires soldering the 2-prong AC input cables directly to the PW-12D16's internal transformers (the included power input cords have stripped and tinned ends). In addition, DC voltage outputs for each camera connection consist of bare lead power terminals. In order to connect CCTV cameras or other 12v DC devices to this power supply, a bare power cord from each device must be secured to the output terminals using a screw driver. Installers of this product MUST be sure to follow all instructions and carefully connect all devices using proper +/- polarity.

  • The wide dynamic range (WDR) function of a camera is intended to provide clear images even under extreme light circumstances where intensity of illumination can vary excessively, namely when there are both very bright and very dark areas simultaneously in the field of view of the camera. WDR enables the capture and display of both bright and dark areas in the same frame, in a way that there are details in both areas, i.e. bright areas are not saturated, and dark areas are not too dark. It also offers amazing low light capability.
  • Digital Noise refers to the random dot pattern that is superimposed on the picture as a result of electronic noise; the 'snow' that is similar to what can be seen with poor (analog) television reception or on VHS tapes. The Digital Noise Reduction feature reduces that "noise" from the cctv camera image.
