What an absolutely INCREDIBLE camera- our new favorite color bullet camera! The technical specifications (specs) show it's superiority over so many others and the performance blows the rest away! 600 horizontal TV lines / 0.0001 lux gives you higher resolution and better low light capabilities than any previous versions. The CC-5DWDR is providing some of the BEST video ever seen by a color bullet camera. The picture is razor sharp and the colors are amazingly vibrant.

The Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) function of a camera is intended to provide clear images even under back light circumstances where intensity of illumination can vary excessively, namely when there are both very bright and very dark areas simultaneously in the field of view of the camera. WDR enables the capture and display of both bright and dark areas in the same frame, in a way that there are details in both areas, i.e. bright areas are not saturated, and dark areas are not too dark.

Digital Noise Reduction (DNR)- In video noise refers to the random dot pattern that is superimposed on the picture as a result of electronic noise, the 'snow' that is similar to what can be seen with poor (analog) television reception or on VHS tapes. The Digital Noise Reduction feature reduces that "noise" from the cctv camera image.

Cautions:

This camera's thread mount will accept other lenses we carry as well. HOWEVER, the super wide 2.10mm/ 2.45mm and the highly telephoto 16mm/ 25mm lenses WILL NOT ALLOW the lens cap (with weatherproof o-ring seal) to seat properly to camera body. Therefore, only 2.97mm, 3.6mm, 6mm, 8mm and 12mm lenses can be used to maintain weatherproof aspect of camera. *This camera is not submersible.

Certain types of telephoto lenses (12mm and *non-weatherproof 16mm / 25mm) may cause some picture brightness alterations in certain lighting conditions with this camera.

These bullet cameras are great and are considered rugged, but care must be used when handling the attached video /power cable. Most any problems ever seen with our bullet cameras are caused by too much pulling stress being applied, resulting in connection damage inside the camera.
