What a great little unit. Don't confuse this with most similar-looking cameras you'll see out there- many of which are terrible in comparison. The technical specifications (specs) haven't changed in over 3 years - but the performance sure has! The same 430+ horizontal TV lines / 0.05 lux cam now has an overall sharper picture capable of performing in lower light situations than even the last revision version. A super choice for stationary applications- whether for covert / hidden / disguised purposes..... or just general video use. With the newly revised 1/3" Sony SuperHAD DSP (digital signal processing) CCD imager chipset- this features identical picture quality to our other enclosed case BW-5HAD configurations, as well as the exposed board BW-1HAD.

We carry ONLY the LATEST and BEST in CCTV chipset technology and circuit board engineering (both aspects are critical to produce a high quality CCD camera)!

Variations / Alternate Equipment to Consider:

We stock a couple different versions of this same camera. The #BW-5LLM (low lux 0.0003) and the #BW-5HRM (high 600 TV line resolution + 0.003 lux).

We also carry the #BW-5VF, which features a built-in 4-8mm adjustable focus zoom lens.

This is a non-weatherproof camera, and as such- must be treated with extra care and NEVER left outdoors without the proper protective housings.
